Katy Perry just became the first person to hit 100 million followers on Twitter, but someone else wants you to hear him roar. In a Friday morning Twitter ( TWTR ,  Tech30 ) storm about his frustration over the Russia investigation, President Trump  boasted  that he can circumvent the "fake media" and go straight to the "100 million people" following him on social media. It's a familiar Trump theme -- he sees his robust social media footprint as a direct line to his base. But just how many people are following Trump on social media? It it really 100 million? His main Twitter account lists 32.4 million followers. Not too shabby for someone who follows only 45 people -- mainly his family, aides and Fox News hosts like Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity. A teenager in Malaysia has died following a violent attack in which he was beaten, burnt and raped for hours by his homophobic school bullies. A group of young men aged between 16 and 18 attacked the teenager outside of a burger shop on Friday in a southern suburb of George Town in Penang, Malaysia. 18-year-old T. Real Madrid won’t allow Cristiano Ronaldo to leave in anger. A shocking transfer rumor emerged Friday, claiming the soccer superstar wants to leave Real Madrid this summer. Portuguese newspaper A Bola broke the story, and every major media outlet in Europe (and many others globally) ran similar reports, having been briefed by sources close to Ronaldo. The legal proceedings Spain’s tax authorities launched against Ronaldo are cited as the main reason he wants to leave. Ronaldo insists he always has acted lawfully and reportedly is angry about being portrayed as a criminal and concerned at the negative effect the tax-fraud case has on his image. Former  Liverpool  defender Steve Nicol has questioned Jurgen Klopp's side's pursuit of Roma winger Mohamed Salah and does not think the Egypt international will oust Philippe Coutinho or Sadio Mane and receive regular game-time at Anfield.  Salah, 25, has told the Giallorossi of his wish to leave Rome  and move to Merseyside this summer, but the Reds have not yet agreed a fee for the former  Chelsea  winger.  It is understood that the two clubs are still £10m apart, with Roma valuing their star attacker at £40m. Controversy The stand on the part of a large number of supporters of Ante Cacic’s side relates to the recent decision of Modric to stand in court in defence of Zdravko Mamic, a hate figure amongst fans of Croatian football. Mamic has previously been accused of taking up to 20 million Euro from Dinamo Zagreb, during his stint as President of the club. Adele  was pictured at the scene of the Grenfell Tower tragedy on Wednesday night. At least 12 people have died after the devastating fire destroyed the tower block in north Kensington, where flames could still be seen burning more than 24 hours later. And the death toll is expected to rise as investigators trawl through the wreckage in the search for other victims. apiss Cisse led the tributes at a memorial for former Newcastle United team-mate Cheick Tiote in China. Tiote, 30, died after collapsing during training for Chinese second-tier side Beijing Enterprises on 5 June.
