Getty Images Google CEO Sundar Pichai Google  CEO Sundar Pichai cashed in big during his first full calendar year at the helm of the Internet giant, nearly doubling his total compensation to $200 million in 2016. Pichai received a salary of $650,000 last year, slightly less than the $652,500 he earned in 2015. But the long-time Google employee, who was named CEO during the company's re-organization in August 2015, received a stock award of $198.7 million in 2016, roughly double his 2015 stock award of $99.8 million. That brought his total compensation last year to $199.7 million, almost twice the $100.6 million he earned a year earlier. Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has revealed his friends are asking him about joining Turkish giants, Fenerbahce amid speculation that he wants to leave the Emirates. Former  Liverpool  defender Steve Nicol has questioned Jurgen Klopp's side's pursuit of Roma winger Mohamed Salah and does not think the Egypt international will oust Philippe Coutinho or Sadio Mane and receive regular game-time at Anfield.  Salah, 25, has told the Giallorossi of his wish to leave Rome  and move to Merseyside this summer, but the Reds have not yet agreed a fee for the former  Chelsea  winger.  It is understood that the two clubs are still £10m apart, with Roma valuing their star attacker at £40m. The touted fee does not sit well with Nicol, who plied his trade at Anfield for 13 years. They may not have lost themselves in the music or the moment but a judge and nine lawyers in a New Zealand courtroom did listen politely to  Eminem 's "Lose Yourself" as a copyright trial involving the country's ruling political party began Monday. The Detroit-based music publishers for Eminem are suing New Zealand's conservative National Party, alleging the rapper's acclaimed 2002 song was copied in the party's soundtrack for a TV ad aired during its successful 2014 election campaign. Titled "Eminem Esque," the track has the familiar urgent, pulsing beat of Eminem's song. The party has previously said it purchased the track through an Australian-based supplier and doesn't believe it has infringed anyone's copyright.
