Music Review: Is Kiss Daniel’s New Single ”Sofa” Another Classic Hit Or An Overhyped Nonsense?

Few weeks back, there has been a heavy buzz, promo and hype about the coming of  Kiss Daniel  Single titled “ Sofa ”. The viral pre-release campaign for the song promised that “Sofa” will be another smashing hit from the G-worldwide star. Amidst all the hype we waited patiently until the song finally dropped like a bombshell few days ago. This time Kiss Daniel went the reggae way with a good blend of afro tune which wasn’t bad at all. Apart from the fusion of reggae and afro-pop genre, Kiss Daniel further murdered the song with a more matured lyrical content that blend so well with the atmospheric beat that comes with it. However, as good as the song sounds, Kiss Daniel’s decision to adopt some lyrics style from  Gyptian Ft Nicki Minaj’s “Hold Yuh”  remix made the song loose its originality. “Gal mi waan fi hold yuh, put mi arms right around yuh”- (Gyptian Lyrics on “Hold Yuh” Ft Nicki Minaj) This is not to say,  copying  part of another person...

An Instagram user who is apparently obsessed with Ace producer, Don Jazzy, and went viral after she claimed that Don Jazzy has refused to pick her call, just revealed that she had a romantic night with the Mavin boss, a night of cuddling, kissing and ‘Doing it’. She shared a side-by-side picture with the ‘Dorobucci’ crooner and wrote; ‘Good morning my Handsome worldking  my darling  my meditations @donjazzy @mavinrecords  .. I Am Not Dead – Popular Yoruba Actor, Odunlade Adekola Cries Out

Odunlade Adekola, popular Yoruba actor, has refuted death rumour currently being peddled about him in a new Instagram video. The 38-year-old film star cursed the people the death rumour. In a video recorded in Yoruba language, the comic actor said he has haerd and seen all the rumours of his death making the rounds on social media and has no idea why anyone will want to wish him dead. In his comical manner, he then proceeded to make some notable declarations, or what can be considered barrage of curses on those wishing him untimely death. He siad: “I am so surprised to hear it again that I am dead. This will be the fifth time and it is becoming unbearable. It has gotten to that level in which I have to voice out.
