Injury Crisis for Arsenal Ahead of Leicester City Clash as Gunners Plot Route Back Into CL Places
Arsenal, who are currently 7th in the Premier League, sit seven points adrift of fourth place which is currently occupied by rivals, Manchester City, as they head into Wednesday's vital game against a new and revitalised Leicester City.
The Gunners will be looking to use the momentum that they picked up from their emphatic win against Manchester City, in the semi-finals of the FA Cup on Sunday afternoon.
Whilst German International, Mesut Özil, will be available for selection, several Arsenal players will not; due to currently ongoing injury problems.
Using injury data collected by Arsenal Report, Santi Cazorla, Shkodran Mustafi, David Ospina and Lucas Pérez are all set to miss Wednesday's clash with all, but Cazorla is set to return within the coming week.
Injuries continue to be a problem for the Gunners and evidently play a huge part in the Christmas time downfall that the London side go through, each season - something that many have now become accustomed to.
Santi Cazorla, arguably Arsenal's most creative player, has been sidelined for a total of 188 days due to an Achilles injury that he picked up in October of last year.
Whilst the Spaniard is a huge miss for Gunners boss, Arsène Wenger, they are still expected to beat Leicester with the the away side most likely turning up in search for a defensive point.
