Last Friday (April 21),  Lil Yachty  generated buzz after unveiling his album cover for his debut studio album,  Teenage Emotions  -- and the chatter hasn’t stopped. The album art features Yachty in the center of a movie theater, surrounded by people not normally represented in the media: a girl afflicted with vitiligo, an albino boy and -- perhaps the most controversial -- a young gay couple making out. The response has been generally positive, with people applauding Lil Boat’s decision to start a conversation with his album art.  Billboard  reached out to LGBTQ musicians to see what they thought. Nigerian actress cum business woman, Lillian Bach has allegedly arrested and locked up her manager, Adedoyin Sulaiman whom she accused of stealing N5 million from her company’s accounts. The manager pleaded not guilty at the law court.The accused said she only borrowed a total sum of N120,000 to pay her child’s school fee. According to the family of the lady, pictured above, Lillian Bach was away for some time. Adedoyin who was seriously in need of some money to pay her child school fee was given the loan, with the approval of the Assistant Manager and Lillian Bach from the company’s accounts to take care of her pressing need. “Adedoyin later paid N60,000 out of the money she borrowed from the company’s accounts and the balance was N60,000. Real Madrid avoided a slip-up on Saturday in La Liga, beating Valencia 2-1 on a late goal from Marcelo. Entering the day level on points with Barcelona atop the standings, Real looked headed for a win with Cristiano Ronaldo’s first-half goal. But a sick free kick goal from Dani Parejo with just under 10 minutes to go made it seem like the hosts would only get a point, but the Brazilian defender produced some late magic to lift his team to a vital win. Riding that goal the entire match without creating much, Real conceded in the 82nd minute with this stunning strike from Parejo. But just four minutes later, Marcelo cut inside down the left and fired home for the win. And that is a massive result. A draw combined with a Barca win on Saturday would have seen Real down two points in the standings, with their campaign taking a big hit, but it comes up late as it does so often and keeps its hopes of winning the league alive and well.

The Federal Government has called on Nigerians in the Diaspora to return home and seize the various economic opportunities to make billions of naira. The Minister of Science and Technology, Ogbonnaya Onu, made the call at an investment forum organised in New York by his ministry for Nigerians in the U.S. Mr. Onu explained that various investment opportunities currently existed and were waiting for them at home, challenging them to take it before they were given to foreigners. A prominent businessman in Amaraku community in the Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State, identified as Odinaka Uzoeshi, was in the early hours of Friday kidnapped by some gunmen.. According to Punch, Uzoeshi was abducted in his residence at about 1:45 am. Confirming the kidnap, the Commander, Imo security Network for Okigwe Zone, Uzondu Kaka, said the suspected abductors, who came on a motorcycle, whisked their victim away in his car. Kaka said when the hoodlums arrived the residence of their target, they shot sporadically into the air to scare neighbours away before whisking him away. The security expert stated that the strategy deployed by the fleeing gunmen made it impossible for security men and people within to understand they were around for a criminal mission. Earlier, we reported about the Speaker of Adamawa House of Assembly, Alhaji Kabiru Mijinyawa, who physically assaulted one of the policemen attached to him who complaint over non-payment of allowances. Now, Mijinyawa, in a statement Saturday signed by the Assembly Public Relations Officer, Mr Yahaya Daji, has denied reports describing the story as “baseless, false, unfounded and malicious” aimed at denting his image. Mijinyawa said that as a legislator, he has respect for the rule of law and would not carry out such dastardly act against anybody. According to The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the Adamawa Police Command Public Relations officer, Mr Othman Abubakar, had said that the police was investigating the matter. Abubakar said that there was allegations that the speaker beats one of the policemen attached to him. The spokesman, who did not give details, explained that the Yola Area Command of the force was investigating the matter.
